Building Up the Body of Christ
The Brighton congregation is a growing fellowship of believers in the risen Christ. We have grown so much that our members spill from the pews and tumble out of the doors of our present sanctuary, it being too small to accommodate all who seek to participate. So, we build a bigger place. We construct a larger worship space.
Brighton Methodist Church continues to move along with an extensive undertaking to erect a new sanctuary adjacent to our established church. The new space will be almost 3 times the size of the present structure. We build this new house of worship on faith, allowing God’s grace to provide the resources as we press forward together. Although we await with expectancy the day the sanctuary is completed, we find that the process of building together has formed us into a stronger and more vibrant body of Christ witnessing to a world that stands in the need of seeing a church growing in faith and in size.
