Youth Exuberance
"... and a little child shall lead them." (Is. 11:6) This Scripture has been exemplified with the Gomea congregation. We are a group of believers in Jesus Christ who are being led by the young people of the community. It is truly amazing how God continues to work and move by bringing so many of the neighborhood youth into our midst.
On any given Sunday about one-half of the people who worship at our church up on the hill are under the age of 18. The wonder in their eyes and the smiles on their faces show us how to really praise God together with joy in our hearts. This enthusiasm is contagious. We are a congregation that is integrated into the neighborhood with most members living within easy walking distance of the church. This direct connection to, and being with, the community allows us to be a place where young people in the area can come and partake in the life of Christ.
