Rev. William "Bill" St Clair and his family come to St.Vincent and the Grenadines from West Virginia in the United States. Wife Danielle and daughters Olivia (age 7) and Sophie (age 3) have, since their arrival in August 2008, received gracious hospitality, nurture, generosity and support from all
four congregations, as well as from the Circuit and the community surrounding their residence in Villa. Daughter Virginia (age 18) remains in the United States to finish her high school studies and to begin her university studies, but travels as her schedule allows.
Bill is a commissioned Elder with the West Virginia Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. Fresh from seminary, his assignment to the Kingstown/Chateaubelair Circuit is Bill’s first appointment in full-time ministry. Prior to being called to pastoral service with the Church, Bill practiced law for 16 years in West Virginia.
The vision Bill has discerned for himself and the Church is to live into the fullness of life of grace which God has prepared for us all. This life is revealed and unfolds moment by moment in community with others through the power of the Holy Spirit. We are entreated and invited into this life of grace by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is, has been and will continue to reconcile, restore and renew diverse and different people into one body of Christ.
